SANTO DOMINGO– It's one of the loves that the pandemic brought forth. They broke records by talking for hours on end during the lockdown. They were coworkers, but neither had noticed their mutual attraction; but then COVID-19 arrived and connected them so much that their love is now blossoming.
Has anyone ever talked on the phone for nine hours straight? Perhaps Tirso Herrera and Jasmin Lovera deserve a Guinness World Record. They grew closer during the mandatory lockdown that the country and the world experienced, sharing the worries and uncertainties brought on by the coronavirus. They connected for nine consecutive hours, enough time to change topics and chat about life and its coincidences.
Obviously, there were so many coincidences that the spark of love ignited, and the plans of the two colleagues at Premium Real Estate changed. And since everything had been discussed in those endless conversations, the courtship lasted barely a year, plus the year they've been married and are happily awaiting the arrival of Mateo José, who will complete the happy trio of love.
“What really caught my attention about Tirso was his determination in everything he does. I always told him in our long conversations that I believed in him, and at that time I didn't know why, but that's how it has been. That honesty and transparency that has prevailed in our relationship is my greatest blessing,” says Jasmin.

This love from the times of pandemic continues to be expressive and not a day goes by without Tirso expressing his feelings to Jasmín, "complemented with exquisite details that I love," says the happy pregnant woman.
She describes herself as very detail-oriented. “I consider it one of my love languages; I try every day, whether it’s a special occasion or not, to show him how fortunate I feel to have such a beautiful family.”.
Growing together every day, strengthening communication, is the formula they use to keep their relationship afloat. They meet in the evenings to catch up on family matters, after their work commitments have ended.
Although they've cultivated good memories over the past year, nothing has marked their love like the long conversations during the pandemic. "We broke records talking on the phone; we both agreed that neither of us had ever talked to someone for nine hours straight.".
This love will have a lot to tell Mateo José, not only about the kilometer-long talks between mom and dad, but also about the historic moment that the world experienced and will continue to experience, linked to the before and after of the coronavirus.
The "chubby one," as he affectionately calls her, and Tirso are not at all grateful for the arrival of the pandemic, but they are grateful for the moment when God allowed their meeting and say that they would say "I do" again for all eternity.
