Users of the Property Registry will be able to pay for services online with credit cards

SANTO DOMINGO- The virtual office of Cadastral Surveys will allow payment of fees for services online through the use of credit or debit cards, declared the general administrator of the Real Estate Registry (RI), engineer Jhonattan Toribio Frias.

While participating in the business luncheon of ACOPROVI, the Dominican Association of Housing Builders and Promoters, the official highlighted this step as one of the advances exhibited by his administration, in addition to the updates that the tool has and the continuous flow for the deposit of procedures, which initially impacts the requests for authorization, extensions, notices of surveys and the technical work.

Toribio, who has developed innovative initiatives in that state agency, explained that the user will have a more user-friendly and simple virtual office, which will allow them to make inquiries and carry out procedures quickly from the comfort of their home or office.

“These improvements that we are implementing in the use of our virtual office for cadastral surveys respond to the second axis of the RI's strategic plan, which is timely, efficient and innovative services, and processes of operational excellence, always seeking to improve the effectiveness of the service provided to users,” he commented.

In addition, there is the cadastral parcel consultation, available from the portal www.ri.gob.do; as well as the suggestion box, which allows listening to and responding to the needs of users.
