SANTO DOMINGO- With the good news that in its first year of operation the Urban Friends platform has achieved sales of around US$18 million from real estate agents of various firms, Urban Group held a meeting last night with a large group of its business network and friends to toast a year of successful performance.
“This is a platform that makes us very proud because it embodies the essence of Urban: being partners, sharing, and giving back what we've received. We received these master brokers, and we can't keep them just for the team, because our essence is to share with you all and for everyone to be part of achieving a common goal,” explained Luz Sarmiento, CEO of the company.

Urban Group is a young, established real estate group with seven years in the market and one of the most prominent in the Dominican Republic. It boasts a team of over 100 real estate agents, most of whom are professionals from diverse backgrounds who have joined the company to drive its growth.
Sarmiento thanked the guests for attending, highlighting his fellow real estate agents and construction engineers who gathered at Cava Alta to celebrate with the firm's team. He stated that in the second year, they expect to reach US$35 million in sales and that with the help of the agents, the brand he represents will continue to achieve its goals and attract investment to the Dominican Republic.

“It’s an extremely easy-to-use platform where you can find all the details of our projects and filter by location or budget. We also have a page for each property so you can always see the information you’re interested in.”.
Addressing those present, César Iván Santana, who shares leadership with Sarmiento, highlighted that with just one year since its establishment, Urban Friends already has more than 300 members from different real estate companies, of which more than one hundred have achieved sales.

He explained that the name Urban Friends stems from the fact that, as part of their business policy, they don't consider their colleagues to be sub-brokers, "because colleagues are not distinguished. We simply share our master broker projects so that everyone who sells through this platform shares the commissions.".

He explained that the entire team felt more than honored by the presence of the attendees. “We want to thank colleagues we’ve known for many years, as well as promoters and many other people who have supported us throughout these years,” he said.
