SANTO DOMINGO.-In an event led by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, Banco Santo San Cruz announced yesterday, Thursday, the construction of its new corporate tower, which will cover more than 20,000 square meters of construction and seeks to provide a modern space to enhance the experience of its clients.
According to information provided to the media, the new tower has been designed with a "clear and modern" vision, with the aim of enhancing the banking and financial services experience. It will integrate all areas of the bank and will have 20 levels.
The document containing the building's specifications indicates that the project design includes a double-height main lobby on the first level, which will provide access to both the corporate offices and a large bank branch with a drive-through banking facility, encompassing a combined area of 2,000 m². The two underground levels, totaling 4,000 m², will be dedicated to the bank's internal operations.
In addition, from the second to the tenth level, 650 parking spaces have been planned, facilitating accessibility and convenience for customers and visitors, while from level 11 to 20, 14,000 m² of offices will be developed with open floor plans of 1,400 m² per level, supported by a vertical core that includes four elevators, two freight elevators and two emergency staircases, thus guaranteeing optimal functionality and safety.
The bank's statement maintains that Santa Cruz not only aims for the growth and evolution of its financial services, but also "respects and recognizes its responsibility to the city, the environment and the sustainability of this project," promoting spaces with better conditions for health and productivity, reducing operating costs and minimizing the environmental footprint generated by its operations.

The project features a curtain wall façade with sunshades and double-glazed windows offering hurricane protection, as well as high thermal and acoustic performance. This, combined with high-efficiency chillers, maximizes energy efficiency. It also includes an access control system, a fire detection and suppression system, and a building management system (BMS).
Ongoing commitment
Fausto Pimentel, president of the financial institution, highlighted that the new headquarters, strategically located on Lope Vega Avenue in the heart of the National District, symbolizes "the organization's ongoing commitment to business development and institutional strengthening."
"This project represents the unification of all our departments in a single space, which will promote greater integration and synergy among our teams, thus improving efficiency and safety in serving our clients," the executive stated.
He argued that the sustained success of Banco Santa Cruz has been reflected in an ambitious expansion plan.
Currently, the institution has 47 business centers strategically distributed in the main cities and shopping centers of the country.
