SANTO DOMINGO.-A group of young Dominicans has created a technological tool that would allow the real estate sector to showcase and sell properties digitally, streamlining processes and making life easier for future buyers.
This is the company Ecomars SRL, created by a group of young people from La Vega who innovatively devised a web platform that would allow potential buyers to visit the project in plan using virtual reality, make changes to the infrastructure, select the furniture and its colors, the floor or the wall coverings among other options, to make their property according to their preferences.
You can also visit the construction site and surrounding areas to get a feel for the environment.
This eliminates the need for physical visits to properties, making it an ideal tool for buyers located outside the country, explained Enmanuel Henríquez Marte, one of the creators.
He said they hope to bring this technological innovation in the real estate sector to Silicon Valley in California, USA, and if so, it would be the first Dominican startup there. They will have the support of the Ministry of Youth for this endeavor.
He said that the platform would be working hand in hand with reputable and highly credible real estate companies, as well as public offices, so future buyers could reserve their properties online without fear of fraud.
Yanio Concepción, the company's local manager, indicated that this platform idea is patented in the country and they are working on obtaining international patents because this type of immersive experience applied to the real estate industry is unique in its field.
