SANTO DOMINGO.- Sixty-nine construction professionals were selected by the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED) as the Pre-qualified candidates, after applying in the call to be among the first Private Technical Supervisors that the country will have.
Fifty of the preselected candidates will be elected for a five-year term and will be responsible for receiving, reviewing and inspecting the execution of the different stages of building construction and ensuring compliance with current regulations in the Dominican Republic.
Six people appear on the list published by the state agency as NOT prequalified.
“After having complied with the delivery of files, corrected documents and completed the enabling stage below, we present the list of professionals who have been Prequalified in the procedure “Presentation of Credentials for the first call for the enabling, accreditation and registration of Private Technical Supervisors in the Dominican Republic,” says the MIVHED circular.
Among those prequalified are Ramón Antonio Martínez Núñez, Pablo Alfredo Graciano Antigua, Praxiyelis Segura Guerrero, María Del Carmen Pérez De Lebrón, Carol Reyes, SRL Tavarez Batista Montero Ingenieria Actualizada, CONSTHERA, SRLTECNOAMERICA, Ana Ivelise Castillo Concepción, Andrés Féliz Féliz, Estructuras Morrison, Pérez Guzmán SRL, Leibniz Garisbaldy Ogando Camilo, Yafreisi Idalina Rodríguez Thomas de Corona and Rut Estel Rodríguez Gómez.
Also included in the Prequalified list are Aida Ysidra Dayanara Pantaleón Acosta, Carolina Pujols Reyes De Abreu, Vladimir Esteban Rodríguez Santos, Kelvin Then Monegro, Canaris María Silvestre Contreras, STUDIO 1.61, SRL, Rosa Lara Corporán, José Edwin Jesús Rodríguez Rodríguez, Elvin Alberto Cabrera Bonilla, José Altagracia Báez González, Diseños Estructurales al Límite and CYPE DOMINICANA.

The Ministry of Housing invited the pre-qualified applicants to participate in the written evaluation, which will be held on Wednesday, May 3rd of this year, at 9:30 am, in the Auditorium, located on the third level of Building 1, of the Ministry of Housing, on Moisés García Street corner of Dr. Báez Street, Gazcue, National District.
The entity claims to have complied with the process “in accordance with the provisions of Numeral 17, Article 12 of Law 160-21 that creates the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED); and Decree No. 641-22, Regulation for the Accreditation and Registration of Private Technical Supervisors.
