SAN DIEGO (CALIFORNIA), UNITED STATES- A delegation from the Judiciary recently participated in an event held in San Diego, California, aimed at showcasing best practices for leveraging new technologies related to the management of geographic data.
The delegation was headed by Judge Modesto Antonio Martínez Mejía, a member of the Judicial Council, who, along with other members of the Real Estate Registry, attended a conference of the National Geospatial Executive Forum (NGEF) @ Esri UCE.
The National Director of Cadastral Surveys, Ridomil Rojas, who was part of the group, indicated that taking the experiences and tools already implemented to transform them into services that facilitate the technological infrastructure will help the systems used by the institution he represents to process user requirements, so that they have less burden and are faster.

"Furthermore, it will allow us to build new electronic products and services for our external users, always responding to the needs of the various user profiles," he explained.
Rojas also highlighted that participation in this event is part of the digital transformation process that the Real Estate Registry is undergoing under the Strategic Plan Vision Justice 2024.
The commission also included Carlos Rondón Paula, interim deputy administrator of Information and Communications Technology; and Massiel Suero, technical manager of Mensuras.
The delegation connected with international geospatial authorities and learned how their counterparts are leveraging the advances in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the management and analysis of geospatial information, a press release highlights.
