SANTO DOMINGO.-The Real Estate Registry (RI) reported that during the year it served a total of 1,041,148 users through in-person offices, service centers and virtual channels.
In a press release, the organization emphasizes that these achievements reflect the institution's commitment to modernization, operational excellence, and strengthening legal certainty in the real estate sector.
According to official data, the RI processed 507,461 applications for Title Registration and Cadastral Surveys, representing a 5.4% increase compared to 2023. In addition, 1,063,865 file consultations were registered and 200,681 transactions were processed through the virtual offices.
Among the provinces with the highest demand for Title Registration services are Santo Domingo, National District, Santiago, Higüey and La Vega, while the regional offices of Cadastral Surveys with the most activity were DRMC-North and DRMC-East.
The most requested services through the institutional web portal included the consultation of files, the cadastral parcel and the consultation of public documents in the Virtual Office of Title Registration.
During 2024, the Registry of Titles received a total of 421,905 applications, processed 425,640 requests, issued 464,650 title certificates and handled 184,972 certifications of the Legal Status of the Property nationwide.
The document also points out that the entity achieved significant progress, such as attending to 100% of the applications of the National Titling Plan and the presentation of the financial sustainability model to the plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice.
He also inaugurated a new service office in Sambil, launched the Registry Alerts service, and expanded the National Geodetic Network with five new CORS stations. "Another important achievement was the completion of the Cartographic Vectorization Program, which made 165,000 historical maps available for consultation nationwide," he explains.
“This year was a period of transformation and progress, in which we modernized processes, expanded our digital service offerings, reduced response times, and strengthened legal security. These advances are the result of the combined efforts of a committed team and the trust placed in our institution by citizens,” said Ricardo Noboa, General Administrator of the RI.
