At the Expoturismo 2024 fair, which is being held from today, June 7th to Sunday, June 9th of this year, Puerto Plata will be represented by its different associations, along with its accommodation options and complementary experiences.
The event is held at the Hodelpa Gran Almirante Hotel Convention Center in the city of Santiago and in its twenty-seventh edition seeks to highlight the potential for tourism investment on the North Coast of the Bride of the Atlantic.
A press release highlights that the participation of this tourist hub includes the support actions of the alliance created between Santiago-Puerto Plata, "two cities, one destination", projecting the "always real" brand.
The press release adds that the tourist hub, where the history of tourism in the Dominican Republic began, will strengthen its presence at the tourism fair, with the participation of renowned hotel chains, including Ligestyle, Matien Puerto Plata, Casa Marina Beach Reef, Vh Hotels Resort, and Viva Wyndham.
In addition, it will have a shared stand with the Puerto Plata tourism cluster, the Associations of Hotels, Restaurants and Tourism Companies of the Northern Zone (Ashonorte) and of Playa Dorada, entities that are committed to the projection of the values, essence and character that the brand of this destination represents, the information adds.
In this space (stand) the diversity of options and tourist experiences offered by the bride of the Atlantic will be showcased, especially for national visitors.
The Expoturismo fair represents one of the country's platforms for showcasing travel and tourism offers, where representatives of hotels, travel agencies, airlines, experience providers and suppliers of this important tourism sector participate as exhibitors.
