It is located on Chłodna Żelazna Street in Warsaw and was built by the Polish architect Jakub Szczęsny
The world's narrowest house is named after its first occupant, the Israeli writer and filmmaker Etgar Keret. The house's highest point measures 152 meters, its widest part is 122 centimeters, and its narrowest point is 72 centimeters.
In the house everything moves and fits together; it has four floors that include a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom; to move from one floor to another, the tenant uses a ladder that is stored away when finished for better mobility; electricity is obtained from a neighboring building and it uses a wastewater technology system, which means that it is not connected to the city's water system.
Because it does not meet the city's building requirements, it is considered an " art," thanks to which the Polish architect had the support of the Polish Modern Art Foundation and the Warsaw authorities.
The iron structure was built in 2012, and opened to the public in 2017 and is a clear example of the proper use of space and resources.
