The Real Estate Registry trains more than 250 users in cadastral surveying procedures and title registration

These meetings respond to the interest of users in training on the procedures and services offered by the institution, as reflected in a survey applied by the RI's digital platforms in the first half of the year, which showed that 87% of participants responded in favor of receiving this type of training.

SANTO DOMINGO.- Lawyers, surveyors, paralegals and general users of the Real Estate Registry (RI), recently participated in the virtual workshops “Technical Provisions of Cadastral Surveys and Title Registration”, held with the objective of socializing the unification and standardization of the requirements for applications, in the areas of Cadastral Surveys and Title Registration.

The workshops, which had more than 250 participants, provided information on requirements, documentation, competence, how to correctly deposit documents for the proceedings, the requirements for collecting the products, and how to properly implement applications.

“The information received has been very useful,” commented Eliana Sánchez, a participant in one of the workshops, which were supported by the National School of the Judiciary (ENJ).

These meetings respond to the interest of users in training on the procedures and services offered by the institution, as reflected in a survey applied by the RI's digital platforms in the first half of the year, which showed that 87% of participants responded in favor of receiving this type of training.

“Our intention is to satisfy the needs of users and, in that sense, these spaces allow us to continue working on improving services and expanding communication channels with users,” said Adabelle Acosta, user service manager of the RI.

The workshops were facilitated by Rigoberto Lorenzo Ybert from Baní and Rudilania De León Alcántara from Nagua, representing the Title Registry; and by surveyors Wilnellia Fabián, operations manager of the national office, and Grace Nahuel Soriano De Oleo, head of the review area, representing the Cadastral Surveys. The workshops lasted approximately two hours and were held virtually.
