SANTO DOMINGO EAST. – President Luis Abinader delivered 360 new apartments from the My Housing Plan this weekend in Ciudad Real San Luis, raising the number of families benefiting in that community to 760
The Minister of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (Mivhed), Carlos Bonilla, delivered the new housing units, highlighting that "each key delivered represents hope, future and a more dignified life for a Dominican family."

He explained that the Ciudad Real San Luis embodies the Government's vision of offering safe, planned with access to essential services, thanks to a joint effort between the public and private —including the Reserve Bank, the Comptroller's Office, the Treasury and the Presidency— with an investment exceeding 843 million pesos.
The official specified that, once completed, this project will have more than 1,000 apartments, designed to provide well-being, green areas, play areas and safe common spaces.
He also emphasized that these 360 new units are in addition to the more than 400 already delivered in previous phases, bringing the total number of beneficiary families in San Luis to 760. “Behind each home are real stories of effort and overcoming adversity.”
The apartments in this project feature 2 and 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, balcony, laundry area, parking, children's play areas, and a gazebo for community activities. Each space has been designed to promote community, comfort, and family development.
New project in Santiago
During the handover ceremony, Brandon Paniagua, announced the start of the new Jacagua residential project in Santiago, the first that the company will develop under the Mi Vivienda Plan in that province, with a total of 792 apartments.
