SANTO DOMINGO.–TheGovernment reported this Sunday that during President Luis Abinader's administration, more than 13,000 homes in the Dominican Republic, an action that, according to a press release from the Presidency, makes him the president who the most units to the country.
Abinader led the handover of 46 apartments in the National District, which directly benefit 184 people and continue the Government's commitment to reduce the housing deficit by providing decent housing.
Located in the Paseo del Arroyo Hondo, the new homes are part of the Happy Family National Housing Plan, and have a total of 80 apartments, explains the press document.
The Minister of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (Mivhed), Carlos Bonilla, indicated that, once again, it is guaranteed that more Dominicans can access a safe, dignified and own home.
The total investment is RD 117,651,000, of which RD 77,821,400 corresponds to private contribution and RD 39,829,600 to subsidized investment.
The residential complex features 14 apartments of 44 square meters and 32 units of 63 square meters, a laundry area, parking for residents and visitors, a children's play area, a kitchen-dining area, a balcony, a living room, and a gazebo. It is located near the Botanical Garden and offers easy access to public transportation.
