A review of the news stories that most captured the attention of audiences in the sector each month
SANTO DOMINGO- Topics related to the increase in construction materials, those inherent to the real estate sector, profile reviews, and articles that propose solutions to the sector's problems, are among the main news stories read during the first year of this digital newspaper.

The tragic death of architect Leslie Rosado, daughter of engineer José Rosado of the Armando Toros Construction Company, is listed as the information that accumulated the most metrics during the month of October.
November is Family Month, and so we compiled a series of articles focused on families in the real estate sector. The article that received the highest rating that month was titled “ Real Estate Families That Transcend Borders and Coincidences .”
The Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies, Northern branch, celebrated its Christmas gathering in grand style, becoming the most-read event of the holiday season. The article was titled " This is how AEI Norte celebrated its Christmas evening ."
In January, we highlighted some of the awards given to real estate agents, to start the year with hope and motivation. “We'll tell you about the method used by this 'newcomer,' awarded as one of the best salespeople of 2021,” referring to the award given to Taina Gómez, from the firm Urbangroup.
Several cases of scams involving home rentals in the sector generated a journalistic piece with two experienced real estate agents: “Real estate agents warn about scams in home rentals,” reached the highest issue in February.
In February, war broke out between Russia and Ukraine, and by March the consequences in the sector were evident: "Because of the war in Ukraine, the price of steel rises by three thousand pesos," highlighted El Inmobiliario in March, capturing the most attention among the topics of the month.
In April, the increase in the price of cement continued to be a major topic in the construction sector: "Increases in inputs put the cement industry in a bind in the country," was the most read article of that month.
The draft bill seeking to regulate real estate services in the country garnered attention through a series published by this online newspaper, which detailed the legislation. The article “ACOPROVI submits its proposals to the draft bill seeking to regulate real estate and brokerage services in the country” captured the most reader interest.
We did a feature on the professionals who put together the ambitious plan that will support the development of Pedernales. “Meet the engineers and architects who created the Cabo Rojo, Pedernales Tourism Development Master Plan” reached the highest metric in June.
Regarding the disagreements generated between some buyers and construction companies that were forced to increase prices in their projects, given the rise in construction materials, we consulted an expert: “Lawyer Reyna Echenique appeals to the principle of 'good faith' between the parties to resolve the increases registered in the price of real estate,” which became the most read article of the month of July.
“Geologist warns buildings in Santiago landslide area could collapse, recommends total evacuation of residents,” was the recommendation of Tirso Álvarez Fermín, a civil engineer specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, regarding the collapse of a wall in Santiago on August 16, and it was the most read article of the past month.
