SANTO DOMINGO.- The user services of the Real Estate Registry (RI) of the Dominican Republic currently register a satisfaction level of 66%, according to the results of the perception study recently carried out to measure the image of the institution.
A statement from the RI indicates that 9 out of 10 respondents were aware of the institution's digital channels (web portal, virtual office and the RI mobile application), available to request services from the entity.
The government agency reports that the study participants valued the transformation process that the RI has undergone at a technological level, its advances and development, and how digital innovations have enabled and streamlined the processes.
When participants were asked about their last service experience with the institution, they responded that the institution is “competent”, “timely” and “of high quality” when carrying out procedures and processes.
According to the results of the analysis, the procedures most known by the general population in relation to the institution were certifications and transfers; in the case of users, transfers, certifications and mortgages.
When asked about the services most used by the respondents, they indicated consulting files and submitting applications.
The statement from the Real Estate Registry explains that the diagnosis was carried out with a sample of 800 people including public opinion leaders, media, civil society, authorities related to construction, businesspeople, and sectors of national relevance linked to the organization.
Lawyers, surveyors, the banking sector, construction, tourism and real estate were also consulted.
“Knowing the results of this perception study further commits us to continue the digital transformation process we have been developing to achieve a service experience that exceeds user expectations,” said the institution's general manager, Jhonattan Toribio Frías.
