SAMANÁ – The province of Samaná will host the third edition of the Tourism and Attractions Fair (TyA 2026) from March 13 to 15, 2026. This year, the People's Republic of China will be the guest of honor. The event will be held at Hacienda Samaná Bay, Hotel & Residences.
TyA CEO Kelvin Faña reported that the fair will bring together more than 60 companies from the tourism and business sector, with an agenda that will include conferences, consulting, product and service presentations, gastronomic experiences, cultural activities and local tourism.
As a special attraction, the world's largest seafood asopao with coconut will be prepared, highlighting the region's rich culinary heritage. In addition, more than 15,000 visitors are expected, who will be able to enjoy Samaná's tourism and investment opportunities.
The fair seeks to consolidate the province as a world-class destination and serve as a bridge for cooperation with China, which will participate with an official delegation headed by Ambassador Chen Luning and businesspeople interested in exploring investment opportunities.
“Tourism and Attractions 2026 promises to be a memorable day of innovation, culture, business and tradition, for the benefit of tourism development in Samaná,” said Faña.
