SANTO DOMINGO.- Banco de Reservas announced that it will participate in the 57th edition of the International Tourism Exchange (ITB Berlin 2025), to be held from March 4 to 6 in the German capital, where this year more than 400 exhibitors and 5,000 companies dedicated to the sector will converge globally.
ITB Berlin is the leading trade fair for the global tourism industry, and is therefore considered synonymous with tourism industry knowledge, networking, and where trendsetting events in the sector are presented.
A press release indicates that this meeting is important for attracting tourism investment to the Dominican Republic, due to the growth it has been experiencing, specifically from long-haul markets such as Spain, Germany, and Italy.
At this year's ITB Berlin, the Ministry of Tourism will conduct a Roadshow for travel agencies and tour operators, seeking to generate interest among leading companies in the tourism sector towards the Caribbean country.
According to data from ITB Berlin 2024, more than 124,000 people attended this iconic international fair, a figure that demonstrates its great importance for the Dominican Republic to present its credentials as the leading tourist destination in the Caribbean.
