Its digital leadership and support for the country's sustainable development stand out.
SANTO DOMINGO.- Banco Popular Dominicano was recognized by the financial magazine LatinFinance as "Bank of the Year of the Dominican Republic", highlighting the performance exhibited by the banking entity in its main financial indicators during the last year.
In its analysis of Banco Popular, LatinFinance magazine refers to the wide range of financial services and products it offers its clients and emphasizes that the bank's results reflect the strong economic growth of the country and the various productive sectors it supports.
Also noteworthy is the bank's digital leadership, especially its financial application App Popular and its more than 50 functionalities, as well as the ecosystem of applications for different segments that are part of the bank's digital strategy.
The magazine also discusses the leading role that Popular has assumed in the energy transition, where it leads in terms of financing granted for wind and solar energy projects, in addition to the Hazte Eco green finance portfolio, from which it promotes, among other aspects, sustainable mobility and energy efficiency for families and companies.
