SANTO DOMINGO.-The flow of passengers this year-end through the Las Américas International Airport José Francisco Peña Gómez (Aila) has been "the highest in history," said Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) this Tuesday.
The company reported that due to congestion, the parking lot at that terminal is at full capacity due to demand, and that long-term parking has also caused all available spaces to be filled.
Aerodom recommended that passengers look for transportation options to and from the airport terminal, as well as understanding when dropping them off or picking them up at Aila.
The information was published by Aerodom through its social media channels.
"We also recommend that passengers inform their relatives that when dropping them off/picking them up at SDQ, if they wish to park their vehicle at the airport facilities, they will have to wait until a parking space becomes available," Aerodom said.
