SANTO DOMINGO.– The GHR Group, a company with 18 years of experience in the construction of real estate projects, presented its latest project, the Parkside tower, a concept that focuses on spaces that allow citizens to integrate and enjoy the city more.
The building represents a new vision within real estate complexes that seeks to elevate the image of the city and transform the way citizens interact with it.
A press release states that the new tower constitutes an innovative project, which, in addition to offering a spectacular view of Santo Domingo, projects a vision of comprehensive development that will mark a turning point in the history of residential towers in the Dominican Republic.
“Parkside Tower is an innovative project that has been designed with that futuristic vision in mind, with flexible areas that offer a clean and sophisticated space at the same time, supported by a bold design that brings a new style to the city and promotes that integration in which we believe,” said Jacinto Howley, general manager of Grupo GHR.
He explained that the complex complies with all the requirements established in Resolution No. 94-98 that regulates construction in the central polygon, giving 32% of its buildable land to the city to be used as public space, in addition to 7-meter sidewalks that facilitate the use and enjoyment of citizens, especially residents of the Piantini area.
“From the beginning, GHR was confident in betting on a building where the most important thing was to give back to the city and provide the public space that the Piantini area so desperately needs,” explained architect Carlos Aguilar, who was in charge of the conceptualization and design of this project.
Aguilar, who has accompanied GHR on several of its projects, highlighted that the first floor of Parkside was conceived as a commercial space as a way to bring life back to the city.
The press release states that the developer took the necessary precautions to include ample parking, thus avoiding any potential impact on the area. "This includes at least 30 parking spaces for visitors and another 20 spaces exclusively for the commercial space on the first floor, creating a social area for the whole family, both for residents of the condominium and for those of us who live in Santo Domingo.".

The building's inauguration ceremony took place in one of the halls of the JW Marriott hotel and was attended by renowned real estate agents and brokers.
