A tip for organizing your home: turn all your clothes hangers upside down.
This "exercise" won't take much time if you just do that: turn them upside down.
Then, every time you wear an item of clothing and put it back in the closet, hang it the opposite way you usually do.
If there are any hangers left unturned by March 1st, it means you haven't worn those clothes in three months.
Start organizing by removing the unturned hangers, which you can then donate, sell, recycle, save for special occasions, return, or give away.
You can do it with books you have on your reading list, shoes at the back of the closet, personal and professional goals you set every year, stored bedding, kitchen items, etc
One thing at a time. First, make a list of things you need to organize, and we recommend starting with the closet since you only need a few minutes to turn over the hangers.
Then move on to other things on your list that don't require much time, such as turning over books, organizing towels, taking files out of a drawer, looking at beauty and cleaning products, and anything else you have pending at home or in the office.
That exercise will lead you to execute the other items on your list, and by July 1st you will have more than 50% of it in the desired order.
This is a good tip to implement before putting your house up for sale in 2023. Are you up for it?
