On March 2nd and 3rd of this year, the Doña Negra Urbanization, located in the heart of the El Pozo Municipal District, in the municipality of El Factor in the province of María Trinidad Sánchez, will open its doors to reveal all the details of a project of plots of land that are available for those interested.
Edwin Guzmán García, CEO of Del Mar Inmobiliaria, explained that the project has 56 lots, and that during the event, unique offers and special payment facilities will be offered, which will only apply for the two days of the activity.

“The children of Doña Negra, Daysi and Alcides Cruz Eduardo, who in life was a pillar of this rice-growing community, wanted to honor her memory by naming the urbanization they have undertaken after her,” explains a press release.
The document specifies that the urbanization is located in the center of El Pozo (in front of the central park), and has streets, sidewalks, curbs, electricity and drinking water, with two entrances/exits, in a flood-free zone, and with a security gate.
García, whose real estate firm is organizing the event, explains that the land covers 24,000 square meters, and the lots range in size from 260 to 620 square meters. He states that prices start at RD$788,000, depending on the size of the property. “All the lots have their property titles properly surveyed,” he emphasizes.
The promotion highlights the agricultural development of the area and the pride of its people in wanting to live in their native land.
The municipal district of El Pozo, with 12,500 inhabitants, is located 15 minutes from Nagua and 40 minutes from San Francisco de Macorís. It is the main rice producer in the province of María Trinidad Sánchez.
