Voting began on February 19, 2024 and closes on April 7, 2024. The 2024 Caribbean and Americas Gala Ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The Dominican Republic has four nominations as the leading Caribbean destination 2024, in the categories of adventure tourism, beach, cruises and sports destination.
The Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) has been nominated in the category of Leading Tourist Office in the Caribbean, while Punta Cana International Airport is nominated as Leading Airport in the Caribbean.
The port of La Romana has been taken into account in the category of leading cruise homeport in the Caribbean, Nelly Rent a Car, nominated as a leading independent car rental company.
In the hotels and resorts category , the Meliá Caribe Beach Resort is listed as an All Inclusive Family Resort; Amanera was nominated in the categories of Leading Beach Resort in the Caribbean 2024, Leading Luxury Honeymoon in the Caribbean 2024 and Leading Luxury Resort in the Caribbean 2024.
Casa Hemingway, as the leading boutique hotel in the Caribbean 2024. Barceló Bávaro Beach – Adults Only and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino were nominated in the leading Casino Resort in the Caribbean 2024 category.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, as the Caribbean's Leading Conference Hotel 2024 and as the Caribbean's Leading Hotel Suite 2024. Punta Cana Resort & Club, in the category of Leading Eco-Resort in the Caribbean 2024.
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas was nominated in the categories of Leading Honeymoon Resort in the Caribbean 2024 and Leading Resort in the Caribbean 2024. JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo was nominated as the Leading Hotel in the Caribbean 2024.
Excellence Punta Cana, as the leading luxury all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean 2024. The Ocean Club, a Luxury Collection Resort, on the North Coast, was nominated in the categories of Leading Luxury Resort in the Caribbean 2024 and Most Romantic Resort in the Caribbean 2024.
Cayo Levantado Resort, located on the islet of the same name, was nominated as the Caribbean's Leading New Resort 2024. Tortuga Bay at Punta Cana Resort & Club was nominated as the Caribbean's Leading Villa Resort 2024.
The Catatonia Bávaro and Eden Roc Cap Cana hotels were nominated in the category of Leading Boutique Resort in the Caribbean 2024.
