Master Agent 360: a day where its participants raised the bar

SANTO DOMINGO.– At 10:00 a.m., the voice of broadcaster Yanerys de León announced the start of the day's events. "Good morning to you all on this blessed morning. It is a pleasure for me to be here with you," were the opening words that inaugurated the third edition of "Master Agent 360," a meeting held in person for the first time.

Luz del Alba Rodríguez, a vegan lawyer and surveyor, and the creator of the seminar, kicked off the presentations with the topic "Legal aspects that every Master Agent should know.".

“Before starting any real estate transaction, you must protect your interests. You must know what you are selling,” the prominent professional emphasized.

Offering details, Rodríguez spoke about the six steps that, from his legal experience, real estate agents have to take into account when selling a property.

Surveyor Francisco Suárez was the second to take the stage, making the most of his knowledge to share it with the audience of more than 100 representatives of real estate firms and independent agents who gathered at the Dominican Fiesta Hotel in the Dominican capital.

He offered advice from his professional perspective on the path a real estate agent must take to ensure safe transactions.

He stressed that it is necessary for real estate brokers to validate the square footage, ensuring that it matches what is stated and the documentation.

At 11:15 am, the first break of the morning arrived. Exactly at 11:30 am, Luz Santana was called to the stage to present her talk, “Beyond Commissions: Financial and Tax Planning for Real Estate Agents.”.

“When I was evaluating your sector to be able to help you strategically, some told us that they didn’t see the commission, others expressed discomfort about paying taxes,” the financial and tax expert began.

He said there are two types of master agent, one who uses the career as a snack, "but the one we want is the one who sees his business as his product, as his service and who wants to grow in the long term," he explained.

He argued that it's not about selling, but about managing. He offered participants advice on the approach they should take to ensure sound finances.

Lunch

At 12:15, the audience was invited to lunch, divided into groups in various hotel rooms, where they enjoyed a varied menu. “I hope you found it beneficial. After lunch, let's refresh our minds. Now we're going to do something we Dominicans love,” said the master of ceremonies, as she walked among the audience toward the stage to continue the training session, asking the attendees to stand up as a piece of music invited them to move their hips.

Next, one of the most well-known faces in the real estate world appeared on screen. Amidst prolonged applause, Reyna Echenique made her entrance, demonstrating to the public why she is called the Queen of Real Estate.

“From experience to excellence” was the theme she brought to the stage, while her first words flowed with emotion, amidst the warm reception.

He began the conversation by talking about his origins, his life, his career, his experience, his learning, a long journey of almost 20 years in the real estate sector, recalling some gray days in the landscape of his life, but also the radiant days he has experienced in his successful career.

“In my first full year in this business, I went three months without closing a sale. It’s easy to say that now, but back then it was difficult, and I wondered if I had really made the right decision to leave my job as a teacher and dedicate myself to this,” Echenique commented, sharing a formula she implemented that opened doors for her: “I stopped chasing sales and focused on customer service.”.

For 53 minutes, Reyna Echenique, amidst applause from an attentive audience, shared multiple tips from her sales secrets that have led her to close more than US$50 million in properties.

Nadia Tolentino, a digital marketing strategist, brought the series of presentations to a masterful close. She appeared comfortable on stage, connected with the audience, and maintained constant communication with her favorite phrase: “We’re all going for the gold here.” There were no signs of boredom; no one left the room, and the frequent coming and going, typical of these kinds of events, was absent from the “Master Agent” experience.

“Anyone listening to me needs to go for the gold. I’m excited to share my knowledge with you this afternoon. Forget everything you think you know because I’m going to give you the tools you need to excel in this highly competitive industry,” Tolentino explained.

He prompted the audience to reflect on what makes him unique. Trust, values, good content, positioning, among other terms, filled the room to make one thing clear: Don't sell dreams, sell properties, highlighting that the era of selling the dream house is over in the world of communication.

There was also room for showing off. (Fidel Pérez/El Inmobiliario).

“More than virality and trends, focus on growth and positioning,” he stated.

At 3:11 pm, glasses were raised to toast the conclusion of the day's program, but not before listening to two testimonials from attendees. "I want to thank everyone because knowing that you were where we might be now, and that you shared your experience, we've all been lost at some point. What I learned today is priceless," said Marlene Núñez.

Marisol Shanlatte said that this is the first time she has attended a training activity where she hasn't fallen asleep, because each of the topics was of interest to her, adding that she was impressed by the testimonies offered in some of the presentations.

A toast to a successful day, vibrant music, merriment and five faces of its exhibitors, radiant with joy and satisfaction, closed the “Master Agent 360”, volume 3 at 3:22 pm.
