PUNTA CANA.-The 10th Latin American Real Estate Congress AEI-CILA was inaugurated on Sunday night, with a diverse representation of more than 300 real estate agents from more than 18 countries gathered at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana, where the meeting is being held until the 27th of this month of August.
"Thank you for coming to the Dominican Republic. Every year the Association of Real Estate Agents and Companies (AEI) holds a congress; in fact, this is the sixth one, and we are stepping out of our comfort zone to hold it for the first time here in Punta Cana, and we are hosting a meeting with representatives from more than 18 countries," commented Alberto Bogaert during the opening ceremony.

He explained that although it was a challenge for the Association, he was pleased to have the presence of more than 20 national and international exhibitors, who will address current issues in the real estate market. "In addition to training, we will do a lot of networking so that in the end we all have the opportunity to do more business," he said.
He opined that activities like the Congress that opened last night aim to contribute to the monetization of the sector, allowing real estate agents to obtain greater benefits from their work. "Ladies and gentlemen, until about four or five years ago, the Association was a small, internal organization, but together with our board of directors, we decided to expand and reach both nationally and internationally.".

He highlighted that proof of the hard work that the entity he represents has been doing is the convening of the training meeting, which he described as the most successful that has been carried out since he became aware of the Latin American Real Estate Confederation (CILA) in 2018.
"Gentlemen, what awaits us during these days is impressive. For me, it is already the best CILA congress to date, highlighting the bonds of unity that unite both institutions.".
The opening ceremony was attended by the director of AEI East Zone, Osmán González, international representatives and representatives of national companies such as Noval Properties, Oferta Inmobiliaria, Anarelys Bienes Raíces, Élite House, H and J Real Estate, among other industry players.
