SANTO DOMINGO– Juan Estévez, sales associate at MR. Home, presented a detailed analysis of the real estate sector's performance in 2024, highlighting both the progress and challenges the industry faced during the year. He also outlined the company's key strategies for 2025, aimed at further driving its growth and consolidation.
Estévez described 2024 as a period of learning and consolidation for the real estate sector, underscoring the importance of real estate as an essential economic pillar for sustainable development.
“This year has allowed us to deepen our understanding of the strategic impact of real estate and reaffirm its role as an engine of stability and economic growth,” said Estévez, who stressed that this period has been crucial to consolidating the vision of the sector as a safe haven for both families and investors.
Regarding the most significant achievements of his brand, the broker highlighted that during 2024 MR. Home managed to strengthen key relationships within the real estate market and improve its service standards.
He also stated that the company has successfully interconnected strategic interests and raised the sense of professional responsibility, with a focus on transparency, trust, and ethics, which has been fundamental to the sustainable growth of the sector.
The real estate sector, however, was not without its challenges, and in this regard, Juan mentioned three main obstacles that affected the market's performance: the lack of professionalism of certain actors that affects the credibility of the industry, the high mortgage interest rates that limit investment capacity, and poorly conceived and structured projects that have failed to guarantee long-term success.
“These challenges have been a reminder of the importance of professionalization and effective regulation within the industry,” he said.
Despite the challenges, MR. Home's performance in 2024 was outstanding, according to the brand's founder. Estévez noted that the company not only surpassed its 2023 results but also expanded its presence in key regions of the country, such as Santiago, Santo Domingo East and West, and Punta Cana.

Outlook 2025
Looking ahead to 2025, the real estate leader shared the key strategies of the company he represents to continue its consolidation and growth. The company will focus on three main areas to ensure its continued success and provide exceptional service.
First, they will focus on strengthening the team's well-being and training. The interviewee emphasized that having a motivated, well-trained, and happy team is fundamental to providing exceptional service, as a committed staff is the driving force behind excellent organizational performance.
Secondly, the real estate company will continue to optimize its organizational structure. This will involve refining internal processes to ensure more efficient operations, focused on both the client and business partners. This approach will allow the company to maintain high quality standards and improve the customer experience at every interaction.
Finally, they will reaffirm their commitment to ethics and professionalism through actions such as upholding the value of real estate agents' service, offering it as an essential pillar for the sector's success. In turn, they will continue their firm commitment to transparency and quality in all their operations, solidifying their position as a benchmark of trust and professionalism in the industry.
“By 2025, our vision is to further consolidate our position, innovate, and continue growing sustainably, always with the goal of offering a service that exceeds the expectations of our clients and strategic partners,” Estévez concluded.
