INTEC opens fair connecting young talent with employment

SANTO DOMINGO.- More than 30 companies are participating in the 2026 Talent Fair of the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC), an event that, beyond the institutional discourse, positions itself as a direct meeting point between young professionals and the labor market.

The event, which opened on March 25, brings together recruiters, students, graduates, and the general public in one place, who come in search of job opportunities, internships, and guidance on the world of work.

According to information published on the INTEC website, the fair not only serves as a showcase of job openings, but also as a dynamic space where attendees can interact directly with companies from sectors such as banking, technology, manufacturing, logistics and mass consumption.

During the tour of the booths, company representatives receive resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and explain the most in-demand profiles, making the experience a real first approach to the recruitment process.

In addition to job opportunities, the event includes workshops and talks focused on developing key skills, such as interview preparation, personal branding, and entrepreneurship—elements that are increasingly valued in the market.

According to the institution's official website, the fair is being held on the university campus in Los Jardines del Norte and will be open until March 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Participating companies include entities from the financial system, free trade zones, consulting firms and multinationals, which broadens the range of opportunities for diverse profiles.

One aspect that adds social value to the event is that 10% of the registration fee from companies will be allocated to the INTEC scholarship program for Outstanding Students (PIES), thus contributing to access to higher education.

Although the fair is part of the institutional initiatives to strengthen employability, in practice it becomes a barometer of the labor market, where the areas with the highest demand and the skills that companies are currently looking for are evident.
