This month's article is aimed at all my colleagues in the corporate real estate sector, as we frequently discuss the importance of establishing oneself as a leader in the real estate industry—in other words, raising one's profile. I dare say these tips are common to any other business, but today I'll focus on the corporate real estate sector.
Perhaps you have heard of B2B marketing and the importance of our personal brand, and although they are different, they complement each other like milk and coffee.
By working on marketing strategies you will become known (or better known), then considered and of course, you will close more and more transactions.
Now, to achieve these results, real estate businesses must begin by establishing a presence in the local market. Therefore, focusing on digital platforms is crucial (it's not the only factor, but it is very important), so you already know that having an online presence is key to increasing brand awareness.
An ideal tool is to have an updated website, blog and/or social media where people, once they enter, get only one thing, yes 1 thing: valuable content and a consistent graphic image.
My advice is not to see this as giving away your knowledge, but rather to look at it with different eyes; by doing this you generate trust in your service and strengthen the bond with your potential clients.
However, it's not just about creating content; it's about having a strategy for its creation, and here are 3 elements that will help you design and implement that strategy:
• Define a graphic style with colors and photographs that represent your personality and style (yours and your company's, both must be consistent)
• Define your audience.
• Establish your value proposition.
• Choose your business and marketing strategies.
Once you have this, I recommend that you develop the third point in turn in 3 parts:
• Attraction. Position your real estate agency on the Internet to attract more users.
• Interaction. Convert those users into contacts (leads), you do this by requesting their data voluntarily and legitimately to keep them informed of offers that suit their profile.
• Closing and loyalty. Closing the transaction and keeping them happy, in order to cultivate the bond with the customer and build loyalty.
Now let's get to work, it's time to get your real estate business off the ground!
