SANTO DOMINGO.- La Nacional Trust Company, a subsidiary of the La Nacional Savings and Loan Association, celebrated its ten years of operations, highlighting its role as a pioneering institution in the Dominican trust sector.
During the commemoration ceremony, the achievements of this entity were highlighted, in a decade characterized by innovation, digital transformation and its renewed focus on the stock market.
"In these ten years, the Trust Company has signed around 220 trusts: low-cost, free-price housing, tourist real estate, rental real estate, asset and resource management, payment source and guarantee," a press release highlights.
The entity's general manager, César Páez, thanked its clients, collaborators, board of directors and its shareholder La Nacional, for their trust and support, "which have made us leaders in assets managed in real estate trusts, making us one of the top three trust companies in the country.".
“Through these trusts we have connected more than 18,000 families, we have almost 60,000 units in the pipeline and behind them, so many other Dominican families who will trust our allies and us to acquire their own roof or strengthen their economic growth,” said César Páez.
The general manager of FLN reported that the entity will begin the path of public offering trusts “and we have the good news that our first trust has already been authorized by the Superintendency of the Public Securities Market, which we will be signing in the coming weeks and making our first placement of securities during the next 2025.”.

Furthermore, he highlighted the Trust's purpose of "continuing to work to make the trust an increasingly relevant figure and participating from our perspective in the consolidation of the sector, particularly the construction sector, for which the arrival of the trust has been a turning point in its development.".
At the meeting, FLN's chairman, Rafael Dickson Morales, thanked his team for their dedication and commitment, also highlighting that the trust of their clients is the fuel that drives them to be better every day, for the benefit of the country's development.
“The professionalism and passion of our entire team are, above all, largely responsible for the sustained growth and credibility we exhibit today,” he said.
Likewise, the executive vice president of La Nacional, Gustavo Zuluaga Alam, expressed the pride and satisfaction that this large subsidiary represents for the organization, being a benchmark of trust, transparency and stability in the national fiduciary sector.
