This Friday, September 5th, the third edition of Expo Acero Santiago will be inaugurated. The event will be attended by the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, and will be held at the UTESA Dominican Convention and Culture Center, located in the Heart City.
The trade fair, which will run until September 7, will bring together 93 national and international companies from 10 countries and expects to receive more than 4,000 attendees, including professionals, technicians, students, businesspeople and institutional representatives from the construction sector.
Since its inception, Expo Acero has evolved into a regional platform that brings together key players in the steel construction industry, promoting innovation, technical exchange, business networking, and continuing education. The 2025 edition promises to exceed expectations and break records set in previous years.
Colombia, guest of honor
Due to its international dimension, Colombia has been designated as the guest of honor country, for its contributions to the development of construction in Latin America, a press release highlights.
In addition, strategic alliances have been formalized with the Steel Institutes of Mexico and Colombia, aimed at strengthening the exchange of knowledge and best practices between countries in the region.
Expo Acero Santiago 2025 will present a comprehensive program that will include: an exhibition area for heavy machinery and equipment, with cutting-edge technology and interactive demonstrations; a Business Hub to facilitate business meetings between national and international companies; more than 30 technical presentations and specialized panels with national and international experts.
In addition, the third edition of the Women of Steel Panel, which seeks to highlight the impact and leadership of women within the sector, and evening activities to promote professional networking and the creation of alliances.

The fair is aimed at engineers, architects, builders, developers, students, suppliers, investors and the general public interested in learning about the potential of the steel industry and the latest innovations in the sector.
