SANTO DOMINGO- Excel, a leading investment banking services group, announced the expansion of its managed real estate portfolio with the acquisition, through its Excel II Real Estate Closed Investment Fund, of an office property located in the Piantini sector of this capital.
The group reported on the acquisition of 11 floors of the Roberto Pastoriza Tower, with an extension of 13,039.69 square meters of construction, from the Roberto Pastoriza Tower Real Estate Development Trust.
The project was developed by the DAF Group, managers of the INICIA. The transaction includes the transfer of lease agreements from the Torre Roberto Pastoriza Real Estate Development Trust to the Excel II Real Estate Closed-End Investment Fund, for the premises currently occupied by subsidiaries of the Reservas Group: Seguros Reservas, SA, ARS Reservas, SA, Fiduciaria Reservas, SA, and AFP Reservas, SA
The Excel II Fund has an approved equity of US$200 million and is strengthening its position every day as the main acquirer of high-quality commercial real estate in the country, with the materialization of the strategic plan defined by the Investment Committee.
Referring to the agreement, Alberto Cruz, president of Excel, highlighted the group's strategic vision to continue expanding and diversifying its real estate portfolio, promoting the development of equities through investment funds.
