Emirates, one of the world's largest airlines, will begin accepting payments via the cryptocurrency Bitcoin for its flights.
And although no exact date has yet been given for the start of accepting Bitcoin payments at Emirates, the company is also planning to hire several people dedicated to the cryptocurrency sector for its projects.
The plan is that once Bitcoin is accepted as a payment method at Emirates, the company will convert the cryptocurrency into fiat currency, positioning it as a payment service similar to Paypal.
Previously, in addition to introducing Bitcoin in Emirates, the idea of entering the metaverse, as well as developing NFTs.
