BONAO, MONSEÑOR NOUEL- "Tourism in every corner, discover what is ours," was brought to this province this weekend, where the Minister of Tourism announced during the opening of the exhibition, the creation of a Bonao tourist route to be included in the promotion of the country internationally.
Among the initiatives to be launched in this town, Collado also announced the investment of $80 million pesos in tourism works and the formation of a working group with the participation of local authorities, the tourism cluster and the church, who will agree on the priority works to be carried out.
He stated that he will deliver 10 million pesos to the tourism cluster for the start of a city branding strategy in Monseñor Nouel.

Collado, along with authorities from the province and the ministry he heads, led the opening ceremony of the promotional event, where he assured that the time has come for Monseñor Nouel to take off as an ecotourism destination.
He stated that this town is among the top provinces in the Cibao region with the greatest attractions for national and international tourists.
“We are going to bring out the best in Bonao,” the official said, after highlighting the enormous cultural and natural resource potential of this region, such as its mountains, its history, and the industriousness of its people.
When assessing the importance of developing domestic tourism in the country, he stated that “Tourism in every corner” is an initiative created to invite Dominicans to visit and explore the beauties of the country, which is not just sun and beach.
The mayor of the municipality of Bonao, Eberto Núñez, defined the project as the beginning of the consolidation of Monseñor Nouel as an ecotourism province so that tourists from all coasts and from abroad can come.
Collado, after completing the inaugural ceremony, visited each of the exhibitors that covered the Juan Pablo Duarte Central Park with displays of traditional products, crafts, fishing, agriculture, exhibitions of visual artists, Taino art and the best of the region's carnival.
