The Credimejoras fair involves hardware store owners, construction workers, plumbers, electricians, among others
SANTO DOMINGO.- Credimejoras Loans is a program offered by Banco Múltiple Ademi, which has launched its traditional fair to provide credit facilities for vulnerable individuals, through the construction of their homes or the expansion of their businesses.
Alicia Freites, Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at the financial institution, reported that since 2013, as part of its social mission, Ademi has supported homeowners, as well as micro-entrepreneurs who wish to remodel or expand their business.
“Since 2016, the Credimejoras program has granted a total of 12,818 loans for an amount of 1,929 million pesos,” explains a statement.
It states that the loans granted range from 10,000 to 900,000 pesos, which interested parties can access through the network of 74 branches throughout the country.
Freites explained that the Credimejoras fair helps to boost commerce in the communities, involving:
- Hardware stores,
- Master builders,
- Plumbers,
- Electricians, among others.
Among the benefits of Credimejoras, in addition to covering the cost of materials purchased at hardware stores, it strengthens its proposal through the alliance with Habitat for Humanity Dominican Republic, offering free virtual construction advice to the first clients, financial education training and delivery of technical guides.
