Arajet will make a special flight from Puerto Plata for the ANATO Colombia fair

SANTO DOMINGO.– Arajet Airlines announced that they will be operating a special flight from Gregorio Luperón International Airport in Puerto Plata to El Dorado Airport in Bogotá as part of their efforts to promote connectivity during the ANATO 2024 tourism fair, which will be held in Colombia from February 28 to March 1.

Victor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, indicated that the airline will connect the City of Puerto Plata with Bogotá in Colombia for the first time, where a delegation headed by officials from the Ministry of Tourism will travel accompanied by the main businessmen and actors of the Dominican tourism sector, highlighting the presence of the president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (ASONAHORES), David Llibre.

“Arajet is firmly committed to being part of the growth in visitor arrivals to the Dominican Republic, and that is why we will be supporting all the necessary initiatives to improve the country's air connectivity and boost tourism in the northern region,” said Pacheco Méndez.

He specified that the flight will depart on Tuesday, February 27th at 7:00 AM from Santo Domingo, making a 45-minute stop in Puerto Plata before arriving in Bogotá at 10:25 AM, returning on Friday, March 1st at 4:45 PM and arriving in Santo Domingo at 8:25 PM.

ANATO is the main tourism fair in Colombia and one of the most important in Latin America, and thanks to the country's successful participation in this event in 2023, Arajet's routes were born, currently connecting Santiago de los Caballeros with Medellín and Bogotá.
