The Dominican airline added Rosario as its fourth connection to the Argentine market, with three weekly flights and more than 1,100 seats available
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican airline Arajet strengthens its presence in Argentina with the opening of a new direct route between Punta Cana and Rosario, one of the main cities in the interior of the South American country and a market with growing demand for Caribbean destinations.
The start of operations was announced by the company through a post on its social media, in which it reported the official inauguration of the connection and highlighted that Rosario becomes its fourth route in Argentine territory.
The new operation will have three weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and will offer more than 1,100 seats, allowing passengers to connect from Punta Cana and Santo Domingo with more than 20 destinations in the airline's network on the continent.
A strategic market for Dominican tourism
The addition of Rosario reinforces Arajet's commitment to Argentina, considered one of the most important tourist-generating markets for the Dominican Republic, according to the airline.
The company also noted that the new connection will bring more Argentine travelers closer to Dominican tourist destinations, while expanding connectivity options for the central region of the South American country.
“Rosario is a city with enormous potential and we are happy to add it to our network,” said Víctor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.
The company highlighted that the demand for international connections to beach destinations continues to grow among Argentine travelers, a trend that has driven the opening of new operations from different cities in the country.
