SANTO DOMINGO.-The airline Arajet officially launched its second route to Canada today, with a direct flight between the city of Montreal and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
Montreal joins the 22 destinations in 16 countries offered by the region's low-cost airline, connecting the Canadian city through Trudeau International Airport to and from Las Américas International Airport in Santo Domingo, the Dominican capital.
Arajet will be flying 4 times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, departing from Montreal to Santo Domingo at 11:10 am and from Santo Domingo to Montreal at 06:00 am; the flight lasts 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Bayahibe is also only 45 minutes away. Arajet also offers complimentary service from the airport to Punta Cana, a journey of less than two hours, according to a press release.
