An agent who carries out her mission with dedication and responsibility to help her clients

SANTO DOMINGO – After 14 years of experience in the hotel and tour operator industry, Clary Obst longed for a change of pace that would allow her greater independence. Her desire coincided with the boom in real estate tourism in Punta Cana, so she saw her opportunity in property. Without hesitation, she has been enjoying a passionate relationship with the sector for the past five years, a relationship she says she is deeply in love with.

She's part of the Tu CasaRD sales team, a native of Santo Domingo with German roots through her father, and describes herself in three words: empathetic, responsible, and sincere. She holds a degree in hotel management, marketing, and real estate consulting.

“I enjoy selling properties, I love being part of a before and after, my greatest satisfaction is seeing my clients happy,” he replies, after pointing out that in the real estate field he projects himself among his colleagues and clients as what he is: an honest, helpful and responsible person.

Helping her clients make the best decision is a mission this talkative and skilled young woman takes very seriously. “I try to explain everything they need to know, clear up all their doubts, both the client's and my colleagues'. I am kind, responsible, dedicated, and above all, very loyal.”.

Obst, whose surname is German due to his father, understands that in the real estate industry, when searching for a property, the least important thing to consider is the commission process, and that the most important thing is to be able to get the client what they are looking for, and if several people benefit from that process, all the better.

His specialty is the country's tourist areas, such as Punta Cana, La Romana, Jarabacoa, Samaná, and the National District. Because he knows his area inside and out, he doesn't work set hours; instead, he adapts his time and distributes his schedule between his work and personal commitments.

Tu CasaRD was one of the real estate companies with the highest sales last year. According to its CEO, Western Hernández, 2022 started off excellently, confirming this loyal representative of the brand.

“This year has started off very well, with many inquiries. We have many Dominicans and foreigners interested in investing in second homes for vacations and to rent out when they are not in the country, and many resident families looking for apartments with terraces and amenities. We are even surprised by the requests for houses with large gardens. The truth is, since the pandemic, we haven't stopped working,” he explains.

Five years after starting her real estate journey, Clary feels at home and says she has mastered the sector 100%; in five years she envisions herself residing in Punta Cana, helping all the clients who have bought properties off-plan from her during these years.

His ritual when closing a sale is to put God above all else, giving thanks for what he has achieved. And when we ask him where he is headed in the near future, he replies: “To be able to do better work internationally, to continue learning in different countries about how to invest in real estate in the Dominican Republic.”.
