SANTO DOMINGO.- Alejandro Romero, the general manager of RE/MAX Dominican Republic, passed away this Thursday. He had held the position since April 2020, although he had been with the company for more than 20 years.
“It is with deep sorrow that RE/MAX Dominican Republic announces the passing of our beloved General Manager, Alejandro Romero. His leadership, passion, and commitment to our community left an indelible mark on all of us who had the privilege of knowing him and working alongside him,” the franchise posted Thursday morning.
It emphasized that “Alejandro was not only a fundamental pillar of our organization, but also an exceptional human being, whose warmth, vision, and dedication transcended the professional realm. His legacy will live on in every project, in every dream he helped build, and in every person he inspired with his example.”

Alejandro is survived by his wife Lourdes Vásquez, his children José Alejandro, Juan Pablo and Gabriela Isabel; his siblings Alberto and María Claudia.
Funeral rites
The funeral services for Alejandro Romero will be held tomorrow, Friday, January 31st, at the Blandino Funeral Home on Abraham Lincoln Avenue from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at 7:00 pm.
His family reported that his remains will be buried on Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 pm.
