SANTO DOMINGO- The Spanish airline, Air Europa, recognized the ten Dominican travel agencies that generated the highest sales figures during 2023 with an immersive culinary experience.
The event was attended by Imanol Pérez, Commercial Director; Karim Balarezo, Regional Director for America and Francisco (Paco) Pérez, Regional Director for the Caribbean Area, accompanied by the entire commercial team of the country.
Francisco (Paco) Pérez, in his welcoming remarks, expressed that “the success achieved by the airline in 2023 was historic and part of this is thanks to the support you give us, entrusting us with your customers.”.
He added that this "Top Ten 2023" award is to thank everyone for their invaluable work in a different, enjoyable and fun way, immersing ourselves in the world of gastronomy to share and celebrate this great achievement.
The award-winning travel agencies were: Travelwise, Viajes Alkasa, Grupo VDT, Rosedy Tours, Services Travel, Gestur, Turinter, Emely Tours, Incanto Travel and Agencia Taveras.
During the activity, airline executives and travel agency representatives showcased their culinary skills by preparing a selection of dishes such as a parmesan risotto, tuna tartare, and a cut of meat, guided by chef Álvaro Reyes at Knife Culinary Space.
Air Europa has been operating since 1986. It is a Spanish airline and a member of the SkyTeam alliance.
