SANTO DOMINGO-Arajet announced that tickets for the new Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Toronto (YYZ) route are available on promotion until today, July 12, for $86 each way (not including taxes or fees).
Arajet announced that this new route will operate from October 24, 4 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with different schedules and with the convenience of connecting Toronto with other destinations in South America, Central America and the Caribbean that will be announced soon.
"We delivered for the Dominican diaspora! We launched the first direct route from Santo Domingo to Toronto operated by a national airline," said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet.
He added that this new flight will strengthen the country's tourism strategy since Canada is the second largest source of tourists to the Dominican Republic and there are more than 40,000 Dominicans living in Toronto.
"The more than 40,000 Dominicans who live in Toronto and the tens of thousands of tourists who visit us every year will now have a better and more efficient way to come to the country, and also to connect with the other destinations we have on Arajet in the continent," added Pacheco Méndez.
