The delivery of 300 property titles that will benefit multiple families and the inauguration of a new hotel were part of the agenda carried out this Saturday by President Luis Abinader, on his tour of the Northwest Line.

The president delivered property titles that will benefit more than 300 families in the neighborhoods of El Bolsillo, Barrio Viejo, El Campamento, Barrio Lindo, El Tanque and Barrio Nuevo in the municipality of Las Matas de Santa Cruz, Montecristi.

“When you leave, your property will be worth much more than when you entered, you will be able to leave it to your descendants and live in peace,” Abinader declared.

He explained that the cost assumed by the government so that families can now enjoy their own roof was RD$ 35,600,000.00, with an individual cost of RD$ 80,000.00.

Duarte Méndez, director of the State Land Titling Technical Unit, said that the titling processes have already begun in El Valle, Hato Mayor province and the urban center of Pedernales.
