SANTO DOMINGO.-This June, Pioneer Investment Fund Management Company (SAFI) presented ViBIENda, an ambitious project backed by an initial investment of over 150 billion pesos, which aims to impact some 35,000 families over a period of 10 years.
A press release highlights that the initiative will generate more than 48,000 direct jobs and 72,000 indirect jobs, underscoring its potential to transform both the labor market and the quality of life of Dominicans.
"ViBIENda begins with flagship projects such as Casa Samán, located on Avenida República de Colombia, and Pravalta, in Bávaro. These developments are designed to promote the creation of sustainable real estate projects, a crucial goal in a world increasingly aware of the importance of environmentally responsible development," the document highlights.
He explains that the endorsement is an initiative of Pioneer's Social Impact Partnerships Development Fund, which seeks to promote a positive impact and improve the quality of life for Dominicans. In this context, projects that generate economic, experiential, and community benefits are accredited.
In this way, ViBIENda presents itself as a catalyst for change, raising investment standards and focusing on long-term social impact and community well-being, the statement emphasizes.
A strategic alliance to address the housing deficit
During the official presentation of ViBIENda, Héctor Garrido, president of Pioneer Investment Funds, highlighted the collaboration between the main Pension Fund Administrators (AFPs) in the country, who identified the need to address the housing deficit.
“This strategic alliance allowed Pioneer to take on the challenge, using the social impact fund as the ideal management tool to exceed initial expectations. ViBIENda is born from a shared commitment, creating a category that will provide a new standard of living through high-value housing,” Garrido stated.
“With this accreditation seal, we are raising the country’s investment standards, now focused on generating a greater social impact and promoting the well-being of communities in the short and long term,” Garrido added.
Three fundamental pillars of ViBIENda
The statement highlights that ViBIENda focuses on three fundamental pillars: economic, experiential, and community-based. Regarding the economic aspect, the project improves financing conditions and utilizes technologies that reduce living costs, making housing more accessible and sustainable.
He adds that on a living level, the user experience is optimized through the design of homes that prioritize comfort, health and safety, incorporating high-quality materials, recreational spaces and advanced services.
Meanwhile, at the community level, it promotes the proper development of communities through modern infrastructure, efficient services, advanced management technology, and governance models that foster social integration and environmental sustainability.
These initiatives not only seek to improve the quality of life of residents, but also to create cohesive and resilient communities.
