SANTO DOMINGO.- Leslie Rosado, whose life was tragically cut short Saturday night by a corporal in the National Police,was a vibrant, cheerful, hardworking, and enterprising woman; she was her father's right-hand woman. This is how a family friend described the 35-year-old architect, who was pregnant and left behind three orphaned children, the eldest being 15. The incident has shocked the real estate industry. She was the wife of Javier Martínez, the owner of Múdate Real Estate. Her father, engineer José Rosado, owns Armando Toros Construction, which is currently developing three projects in Piantini, the National District, and Urbanización Real. She was murdered by a corporal of the National Police as she was returning from her father's birthday. “She was her father’s right-hand woman. A vibrant, cheerful, religious, hardworking, and enterprising woman. She used to own a carpentry workshop that provided services to various development companies, and for some time now she had been working with her father,” the source told El Inmobiliario. COPYMECON calls a press conference Women entrepreneurs from the Dominican Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Construction Companies (COPYMECON) are calling  a press conference for tomorrow at 10:00 A.M., where they will give press statements about the murder of the architect. According to the announcement, the activity will take place at the entity's offices, located on 27 de Febrero Avenue near Núñez de Cáceres, in the National District.   PN version According to the National Police version, Corporal Janli Disla Batista, 30 years old, was traveling with his wife and children on a motorcycle, when around 7:30 at night he was hit from behind by the driver of a white Jeep. It states that Disla's family was left lying on the pavement while the architect did not stop at the scene, so the agent used another person to get behind the vehicle. "Disla and his companion caught up with the architect in the vicinity of Duarte Street in Boca Chica, and it was there that he began to harass her by repeatedly touching the driver's side window with his service weapon," the police document states.
