SANTO DOMINGO- The construction company Roaldi is in charge of building the building located in the Evaristo Morales sector, where the unfortunate accident occurred early Sunday morning, when a vehicle that was hit in a collision fell into a hole dug for the construction work, resulting in two deaths and two injuries.
In response, the company expressed regret for what happened in a statement on Tuesday and affirmed that the project has all the corresponding permits issued by the responsible institutions, as well as a valid construction license issued by the Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings.
He also indicated that they have a perimeter fence and reinforced concrete pilings at the intersection formed by José Tapia Brea and Roberto Pastoriza streets, a vulnerable point regarding vehicular traffic.
Who is Roaldi?

"Constructora Roaldi is a company dedicated to the construction industry, with a 20-year track record, always complying with all regulations and permits required by the various institutions that govern the construction sector," the statement emphasized.

They have over 900 projects, and their parent company, Industrias Jiménez Bloise, works in the areas of aluminum, glass, and wood. They have always been interested in inclusion and sustainability, both in the business and family spheres.
In 1991 they built the first building in the country that had a ramp for people with disabilities.
In 2008, they built a second similar building, which even received media attention, and served to illustrate the importance of being inclusive.
Several years ago, they had the idea of installing solar panels on their buildings, which were eventually installed on two offices. They also include them in their future projects.
In recent times, they have been making changes to generate less energy consumption in the company.
To achieve this, they installed high-efficiency air conditioning equipment in offices and residences, "we switched from single-phase to three-phase machinery to lower energy consumption, we used motion sensors for the lights and we powered our outdoor lighting with solar panels.".
They have also installed a management system to run their departments digitally, in order to reduce paper use.
Therefore, the small amount of paper they use is recycled from both sides. They are also considering purchasing two hybrid vehicles for their supervisors.
