Virtual experience centers: two fairs that will offer a tour of attractive real estate projects

SANTO DOMINGO.- Mobiliapp, the web and digital tool that allows users to showcase and search for real estate assets, will hold two virtual fairs in the Dominican capital, to shorten the distance and facilitate access for clients interested in real estate projects and properties in the country.

Agora Mall from October 13th to 15th of this year, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM; and Downtown Center from the 27th to the 30th of next month at the same time, are the venues where this modern concept based on technology will be carried out, eliminating the initial physical distance between sellers and buyers and streamlining the publishing and searching process.

“The fair will be a temporary virtual experience center, where visitors to these plazas can learn about real estate projects and properties listed on the platform and take a virtual reality tour using Oculus headsets, with booths located within the plazas. This way, people visiting the shopping center can tour projects that haven't yet been built, taking advantage of their visit to the supermarket, pharmacy, etc.,” explains Rafael Paredes, general manager of Mobiliapp.

The event aims to attract construction companies, real estate agencies and agents, developers, and financial institutions interested in showcasing their property inventory. Organizers will include apartments, houses, villas, commercial and office spaces, among other real estate offerings.

“Virtual reality is gaining increasing acceptance because it allows people to simulate or test real-life situations in digital settings, improving decision-making and outcomes,” Paredes says.

He adds that the real estate sector is no exception and that the metaverse and virtual tours have become tools that allow us to connect with people who are far away, reducing physical distances and saving time. “A virtual fair allows our users to appreciate more and better details necessary for choosing their ideal space,” he emphasizes.

The professional believes that in the Dominican Republic, the number of virtual tours of properties is increasing, because the market is becoming more competitive every day and these tools must be used to reach users.

Regarding Mobiliapp's experience, he explains that they have been developing techniques for the metaverse for over a year. “In 2022, we opened our first office in the metaverse and uploaded the first property models. That same year, we developed the first hybrid real estate fair (virtual and in-person) in collaboration with BHD bank,” he states.
