SANTO DOMINGO.– “Very close to you,” to illustrate the proximity of Gerdau Metaldom through the presence of its products in iconic building structures in the Dominican Republic, is the new communication campaign launched by the country’s leading steel brand.
Melina Lozano, marketing manager, said that Gerdau Metaldom steel has been present in the lives of Dominicans and the development of the country for more than 50 years, being part of the structure of "transformative and sustainable" constructions, such as the Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace, the Santo Domingo Metro, the expansion of the Punta Cana International Airport and Agora Mall, among others.
He explained that the campaign's objective is to show Gerdau Metaldom's closeness to Dominicans by being present in the internal structure of iconic buildings that are part of their daily lives.
"Gerdau Metaldom is where you live, where you move, where you dream. It's very close to you. We are the internal structure, the heart, of everything that surrounds you," he emphasized.
During the launch, which took place at the Gerdau Metaldom facilities, the audiovisual pieces of the campaign were unveiled, which will have a national reach, impacting press, digital media, radio and outdoor advertising.
"We selected iconic buildings, symbols of the country's development, of which we are proud to have been a part," said Rosangella Bulus, brand and product analyst.
"This campaign further strengthens Gerdau Metaldom's positioning in the country, and the closeness and connection with our clients, strategic partners and end consumers; with products made by Dominicans, for Dominicans," said Alexandra Rodríguez, brand manager.
The event was attended by senior company executives, including Jefferson Marko, CEO of Gerdau Metaldom Americas; Karina Gil, Commercial Director; Ingrid Lapaix, Director of People Management; and Juliano Graziel, Director of Operations, as well as company leaders.
