SANTO DOMINGO.- From March 1st to 3rd of this year, Urban Group will inaugurate its cycle of international fairs, which seeks to bring to the Dominican diaspora and investors interested in local destinations, the relevant advice to encourage them to make the decision to acquire a property with adequate information.
New York, the city where the Dominican population represents the greatest growth among Latino residents in recent years, is the city chosen by the real estate firm to launch its international program that aims to cover various continents during this year, as explained to El Inmobiliario by Ada Sarmiento, administrative manager of the real estate firm.
A study conducted by the City University of New York (CUNY) revealed last year that the growth of the Dominican population between 2010 and 2020 in the Big Apple was 19.1%, much higher than that of the Mexican population (1.8%) and that of other countries.
“The idea is to visit different cities, bringing them the options and facilities we have, so they can choose and learn about our alternatives up close and ask their questions without having to leave their place of residence,” the executive explains.
He adds that during the fair, potential buyers will be able to obtain discounts and offers from the more than 20 construction companies that will be present at the event, with property options for the diverse public that will attend.
According to information provided by Urban Group, the event will take place on March 1st and 2nd at Mamajuana Café, 247 Dyckman St., and on March 3rd at Mamajuana Café by the River West, New York. The first day's events will begin at noon, while the remaining two days will start at 10:00 AM and run until 6:00 PM.
Sarmiento explains that Urban Group will have a representation of a dozen real estate advisors, who will provide guidance and advice to those interested in acquiring a property in destinations in the Dominican Republic.
He adds that they will travel with a wide portfolio of properties from prestigious developers, located in Santo Domingo, Jarabacoa, Santiago, Las Terrenas, Punta Cana, Santiago de los Caballeros, among other points of the national geography.
He added that some of the most renowned banks in the country will also be present to offer financing options to those interested in purchasing their property.
