The organizers of Expo Acero Santiago 2025 announced the return of the trade fair, which in its third edition will incorporate new experiences to add value.
Francisco Javier Durán, founder of the exhibition, highlighted the remarkable growth that the activity has experienced since its first edition, emphasizing the participation of companies from countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, the United States, Spain, Costa Rica, Haiti, Brazil and Panama.
He highlighted that last year the fair registered an attendance of over 3,500 people and brought together 74 national and international companies in the sector. He announced that Colombia will be the guest country , in recognition of its valuable contributions to the development of construction in Latin America.
“Expo Acero’s vision has been, from the beginning, to create a space for connection, innovation, and training. This new edition reinforces that commitment, incorporating new experiences that add value to the participants and the sector in general,” the businessman stated.
The event will be held from September 5 to 7 at the Dominican Convention and Culture Center (UTESA), and will feature a Business Hub designed to promote trade between national and international companies, specialized panels with high-level experts, and the third edition of the Women of Steel Panel, which seeks to highlight the impact and leadership of women within the construction sector.
Durán explained that there will also be an exhibition area for heavy machinery and equipment, where attendees can interact with state-of-the-art technologies, as well as nighttime networking activities to promote relationships between participants, exhibitors, and strategic partners.
In this edition, Steeltec will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Furthermore, the exhibition strengthens its international dimension through partnerships with the Steel Institutes of Mexico and Colombia, with whom it is working to enhance the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and best practices among the countries of the region.
"Expo Acero is consolidating itself as a benchmark platform for engineers, architects, builders, developers, students and companies, offering a free, high-level space that combines commercial exhibition with technical training and business opportunities," said Durán.
