The event will be held this Thursday, September 3rd, at the Museum of Modern Art in Santo Domingo
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Republic Society of Architects (SARD), the Ministry of Culture and the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA) invite all citizens this Thursday, September 3, to the official launch of the XIII Dominican Republic Architecture and Urbanism Biennial 2026.
The XIII Architecture and Urbanism Biennial constitutes a meeting space for the national architecture and urbanism sector, promoted by SARD together with the Ministry of Culture and CODIA.
The event is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. in the Frank Mariano Hernández Auditorium of the Museum of Modern Art, located in the Juan Pablo Duarte Cultural Plaza, in Santo Domingo.
The initiative seeks to contribute to the promotion and appreciation of Dominican architecture and urban planning, as well as to provide a platform for the presentation and recognition of projects, proposals and contributions related to the development of the country's built environment.
The official launch will mark the beginning of the activities corresponding to the 2026 edition of this meeting, which brings together professionals and actors related to architecture, urban planning and other areas linked to the development of Dominican cities.
The activity will be held in an emblematic space for the promotion of national arts and culture, as part of the institutional agenda promoted by the SARD together with other institutions.
